Lavanya’s Kahani
“ Luvih was born as a true identity for myself and a reminder for overcoming obstacles in life for everyone in my community. It reminds me of acceptance (both physical and mental states). It connects me with who I am and my roots.”
I was raised in a small town called Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu, in Southern India. Immersed in the Ayurvedic lifestyle throughout my day-to-day life, the cultural rituals I experienced were nothing out of the ordinary, they were just a way of life. After I experienced post-partum hair loss and skin dullness in 2014, and a rare clinical syndrome diagnosis leading to severe side effects, I channeled my roots to explore ayurvedic ingredients to remedy my external struggles. After discovering results through consistency in my routine, I was inspired to contribute my learnings to my community and help others overcome their struggles with skin problems.
Thus LŪVIḤ (meaning "Beauty" in Sanskrit) was born out of a combination of my real-life experiences with product innovation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and the dedication to educating and empowering others to live their happiest, healthiest life.
How we helped tell her story
We helped Lavanya from start to finish with her rebrand. We started with branding to revamp her logo, then moved to packaging design and then to launch. We also did her brand messaging as well as developed a product tester program with over 400 applicants. We had specific email marketing for the program as well as for the launch. We also helped with the pre-launch strategy on Instagram and Tiktok. Finally we conducted outreach for PR and influencer marketing to further build brand awareness.
