“Shopping for clothes has been something I have dreaded….

Shopping for Indian clothes was a whole other situation. Growing up in America, Indian clothing had very limited uses and when it was used, the style, fashion and trends here were completely different from what they were back in India. I'd love to say that Anis Collections was a well-thought-out, planned brand. In reality, however, Anis Collections was born simply from a need of one 21-year-old girl who found it hard to get what she wanted out of her desi clothing. I had tried it all, shopping in India, shopping in Edison NJ, ordering online, etc.

How we helped tell their story

The Kahani team was able to help Anis Collections by crafting a unique social media strategy mainly of consistency to help them reach their audience through Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. Part of this process was crafting meaningful captions, facilitating collaboration opportunities and influencer partnerships, conducting photoshoots and video shoots as well as pop up events. The team also helped with an email marketing funnel. Anis Collections now reaches brides not just in the DC area, but all over the country!
